The Android Factor (COMPLETE)

NO! Bubbles streamed from Blackfire's mask as she let out a scream as waking up. Her eyes shot open and she realized that she was still in the medical chamber on Vegeta-Sei. Blackfire let out a small sigh of relief. It was only a dream. Her entire body was sore still and the teen knew that she wasn't fully healed. Not by a long shot. But Blackfire was still itching to be doing something! She had been stuck in the chamber for so long, she had lost track of the time.

The gem on the orphan's neck started to glow and she instinctively reached for it, but hesitated. She was hardly at maximum strength yet, and on top of all that, she still had a broken leg! The machine could heal minor damages and wounds, but her leg would have to mend on its own. A flash of frustration seared throughout the teen's body and she gripped the gem anyway. She had been stuck in that damn chamber for way too long.

Blackfire rematerialized and saw that she was in some kind of storm. Grey clouds surrounded her and the wind was incredibly violent, whipping at her from all directions. Blackfire struggled to stay in flight, but managed it fairly easily once she got used to the vortex that she was in. What the hell were one of these called anyway? Oh! A hurricane. Glancing down below her, Blackfire realized she couldn't see anything below her. An unsettling feeling came over as she saw the white cast that kept her right leg immobilized. That would make things a lot more interesting.

Blackfire's purple eyes darted back and forth as she gazed through the giant pillars of gray clouds as she struggled to find her opponent. She didn't have her scouter with her. Just as well though, it would most likely have been blown far away in these winds. Another reason she was glad that she wasn't in her normal clothes but a black body suit of sorts. She hated being naked while in the rejuvenation chambers.

She let out a small gasp as a face appeared only a centimeter from her own. It was a face of some man. Though Blackfire couldn't even feel any power coming from this thing at all. Android? The saiyan orphan had heard a lot about these strange robot like humanoids that were created long ago by a earth scientist called Dr. Gero. She wasn't sure if this one was one of his creations. It didn't matter that much though. The only thing Blackfire was concerned about was that he was way too close to her. She didn't even let Omega get this close. She was ready to shove him away, but the android had the sense to back up luckily.

The never ending winds of the hurricane tossed Blackfire's hair to and fro until the white ribbon that held it back finally ripped off, quickly disappearing in the distance. Now her hair was blowing around wildly. Great, how am I supposed to fight like this?

"Sorry about that! I'm not use to these winds quite yet. I'm O'Ryan. Who are you?" The android's voice took Blackfire by surprise. It didn't sound mechanical. It actually sounded organic.

“Uhh, I am Blackfire,” she replied, actually looking kind of embarrassed. She wrapped her tail around her waist self consciously. Her blade was not with her which made her a bit uneasy. It was also the fact that she couldn't “feel” this O'Ryan character. She relied on her acute senses in battle.

But none of her thoughts showed on her face as Blackfire calmed herself, forcing her face to show a look of indifference. “I suppose you are here for the same reason I am?” she queried, shifting into a stance, but wincing as a throbbing pain seared up her leg and tingled throughout the teen's body. The orphan cast another furious glance down at her broken leg. This fight was going to be harder than normal.

"If you mean you came here to escape what was currently going on in the real world, then yes, we're both here for the same reason. How would you feel of someone hired you to be the body guard for their pet? Anyone would want to escape from that." O'Ryan stated, allowing his annoyance to show through in his voice. The android still couldn't believe that he had been hired for a body guard duty of such nature.

O'Ryan smiled slightly, showing that he was trying to make Blackfire feel better by telling her something that could be considered humorous, then shifted his own stance so he was battle ready. "I'm ready when you are Blackfire. Come and get me."

Blackfire narrowed her eyes as the android before her spoke. Was that supposed to be a joke? Whatever it was, it didn’t matter as O’Ryan confirmed that he was ready for a fight. She rushed forward, only moving at about half of her full speed. Just before she got close though, she suddenly rocketed behind the android at her full speed. The roaring of the hurricane around the battling pair would mask any noise she made. A blue orb lit up in Blackfire’s hand as she tried to physically slam it into O’Ryan’s skull. [Big Bang Attack]

The best present was one hand delivered after all.

When Blackfire suddenly doubled her speed in an attempt to get behind him, O'Ryan started to bend his right leg till it was curled up close to his chest planning to kick her with his other leg in a pinwheel swing. When Blackfire had completley vanished, O'Ryan told his built in scouter to quickly scan the area behind him, suspecting that the Saiyan was going to attempt to attack him from behind. When she started to form the Big Bang Attack in her hand, O'Ryan's built in scouter picked her up from the increase in ki energy. O'Ryan quickly ducked and started to somersault in mid air. Because he was curled up and not longer as high in the air, Blackfire's attack went right over O'Ryan's head. When O'Ryan's feet were facing Blackfire, the android forced all of his might and speed into his feet in an attempt to slam both of his feet into Blackfire's stomach.

Right after the thrust kick, O'Ryan created an aura of amber ki energy around him and shot forwards away from Blackfire. As O'Ryan started to zoom away from Blackfire, his hands detached from his wrists, flipped around, and clamped onto his forearms, revealing several small barrels that were built into O'Ryan's forearms. They were ki cannons. An instant later, several small beams fired out of the ki cannons and hurled towards Blackfire to shower her in the ki energy from O'Ryan's Hell Flash technique. O'Ryan was attempting to use his thrust kick to help set Blackfire up to get hit by his Hell Flash technique. It worked against the mighty Tapion, but would it work against Blackfire? O'Ryan could tell just by looking at her that she had an amazing amount of potential... the question was just how much did she obtain so far.

Blackfire blinked as her attack completely missed. No way! This thing is as fast as me! Missing. It was a rather odd sensation. The saiyan teen couldn't even remember the last time she actually had trouble tracking an opponent. Then again, the environment had played a huge part. O'Ryan had an enormous advantage over her. Instinctively, Blackfire reached down for her blade, relieved that it had followed her into the realm of sparring.

Miraculously, the horrid winds in the never ending twister of air and rain did not rip the katana away. She unsheathed it quickly from its scabbard, cursing as it almost came out her hands. Something clicked inside of the orphan. Now she was truly in the battle. O'Ryan had ducked from her attack. If he were to continue his attack, the most logical place would be...

“THERE!” Blackfire suddenly yelled out, her left arm becoming a blur as she caught the android's feet in her open palm. The two brawlers seemed to freeze in place for several seconds before Blackfire sent her blade crashing towards his exposed ankles, attempting to sever it from the leg. She opened her mouth and a bright yellow orb of Ki lit up in her throat before she launched it down towards the android in an attempt to disengage with the machine. She was actually upset that she did so as the metal fighter vanished back into the blanket of dark clouds. Once again, the saiyan teen was left completely in the dark.

Panic was starting to rise in her chest. Blackfire had no experience in a battle like this. She had always had the upper hand on her opponents. She was the one who decided when to attack, when to defend, and where she wanted her opponent. Now it seemed like she was a mouse, always sniffing the air to figure out where the cat would strike next.

Wait! The sensation was brief but Blackfire could feel some energy to her right. Her image flickered as a multitude of energy balls lit up the air where the teen once was. She let out a sigh of relief as they soared harmlessly away. She had managed to dodge it somehow. But where the hell was O'Ryan now?

As O'Ryan began to extend his legs to kick Blackfire in the stomach, he just happened to look downwards to make sure that his kick hit Blackfire, only to see that she had managed to catch both of his feet in one hand... and that she had managed to predict where O'Ryan's attack was going to be. Amazing! For her to be able to do that, her reflexes would have to rival mind! the android thought as he tried to push off of her hand with his feet to avoid getting slashed by Blackfire's blade when she tried to attack his exposed ankles. As O'Ryan had pushed away from Blackfire, a damage report expanded in the lower left hand side within his field of vision. She got me?? And she managed to cut right through my outer shell?? She would have to be almost as strong as me to do that! O'Ryan thought in amazement as he looked down at his right foot, which was throwing sparks out of the rear of the ankle. One attack... and she rendered a whole foot useless! She also managed to avoid my Hell Flash! Her skill is impressive to say the least.

O'Ryan then closed his eyes so the amber glow from them wouldn't give away his location as he flew around Blackfire in a wide are and approached her from behind. He stopped when he was roughly 10 meters away from her, then aimed both of his hands at Blackfire with his fingers spread wide. O'Ryan opened his eyes and smiled slightly as a tiny ball of ki energy formed on the tip of each finger. Alright then, let's see just how good you at hitting your target when your trying to evade a bombardment of ki attacks. O'Ryan thought as he unleashed the ki energy at Blackfire in the form of a Flash Bomb. Hundreds of small yellow balls of energy were launched from O'Ryan's hands and were directed towards Blackfire, along with the area around her. It was one of O'Ryan's strongest techniques, so he hoped that this attack would actually do a good job at either damaging her, or at least getting her to show him the full extent of her power.

A soft pant escaped Blackfire's lips as she looked around her. Yet O'Ryan was smart enough to conceal himself. The android obviously knew the power he still held over the saiyan and intended on using it. At least her attack had been successful though. The foot that Blackfire now held in her hand let out a small shower of sparks then died altogether, the heat rapidly draining from it. Instead of tossing it aside though, the orphan kept hold of it. The appendage might serve use to her later. And even if it didn't, she could always keep it at a trophy.

Anger boiled through Blackfire. She hated the feeling of being trapped like this. A purple aura exploded around her as her power began to rise. The hurricane around her seemed to swell from the huge power increase. Finally, a scream escaped the orphan's lips. The gray clouds around her wished away and the wind ceased. Everything fell quiet as Blackfire's triumphant purple eyes locked with the artificial humanoid she was fighting.

“Peekaboo,” she whispered. A multitude of yellow orbs rained down toward her. Though Blackfire could have easily dodged it, there was one other thing that the orphan excelled at besides speed. And that was causing her opponents to loose hope and realize that they stood no chance against her. Long before the blasts hit, Blackfire let out a sneer and crossed her arms across her chest, not even flinching as the blasts exploded around and on her. As the smoke cleared, the saiyan glanced up at her android foe.

“I certainly hope that's not the best you can do,” she taunted. “You'll never be able to beat me with that kind of power.” The bluff was now hanging in the air like a rancid smell. It was beautiful played. Though her body ached, nothing on the teen's body showed even a hint of weakness.

“Shall I show you what a true attack is?” Without waiting for a response, both of her arms launched sideways until her body resembled a 'T'. A purple aura blew up around her, tripling in size as her power level swelled to new heights. It was a impressive sight to behold. She then pushed her hands forward, where a yellow orb of Ki crackled at her fingertips.

“Final FL-” Her scream was cut short as the teen saiyan vanished from existence, only reappearing when she was right in front of her enemy, pushing the deadly wave forward into his face.

“FINAL FLASH!”

The moment that Blackfire offered to show O'Ryan a true attack, the android chose to throw caution to the wind and began to charge up his own attack as Blackfire prepared hers. As she spead her arms wide to charge up her attack, O'Ryan bought his right hand in front of his face, then quickly curled his hands into a fist when his hand and forearm started to glow with red ki energy. As he drew his arm back, white ki energy gathered around his fist and forearm. "Omega Cannon..." O'Ryan mumbled as his attack reached full charge. However, as he threw his fist forwards to fire the attack, Blackfire teleported directly in front of him and tried to hit him at point blank with her Final Flash.

"FIRE!!" O'Ryan shouted as he forced his fist forwards and fired a red ki beam encased by a white ki beam out of his fist just as Blackfire unleashed the full might of her Final Flash attack against O'Ryan. The two techniques barely traveled a foot before they collided with each other, the energy from both attacks forcing both Blackfire and O'Ryan back as they tried to over power each other's technique with their own. O'Ryan and Blackfire were locked in a Ki Battle, and even though Blackfire's Final Flash was far more powerful, O'Ryan's Omega Cannon was holding it's own against it fairly well... at least for now.

Blackfire let out a surprised grunt as O'Ryan's attack crashed into hers, sending both combatants backwards until several yards separated them. Both beams were crashing against one another, causing a horrible sound that the teen hated. The push from O'Ryan's attack was becoming steadily stronger, and Blackfire increased her own output to match it until both beams were twice as large, causing a huge sphere of chaotic energy to form in the center, constantly shifting as the heated grapple continued.

Blackfire was no powerhouse. She hated having to try to match her strength with another. Her style of battle was different; she constantly relied on her speed. But one thing was clear. The orphan needed to cause the android to slip up. Opening her mouth, Blackfire sent a blast of Ki towards O'Ryan's face, quickly followed by another. If the first one didn't strike, the second one would hopefully.

She waited a split second for the blasts to travel the short distance then pumped a significant amount of Ki into her attack. Hopefully the surprise would be enough to overpower the android and wrap the spar up.

As O'Ryan focuse his ki energy into his Omega Cannon, his built in scouter was keeping a set of cross hairs over the tip of Blackfire's Final Flash so he would know where to aim his technique in case Blackfire changed her firing angle suddenly, and O'Ryan was hoping that she wouldn't do that. He could tell from all of the energy that was flowing through it that a simple graze from such an attack would end this battle in a single moment. However, despite this, O'Ryan couldn't help but smile. It wasn't a mean smile, but a kind one, full of respect for his combatant. "Blackfire! Well fought! I know little of your kind, but from this one battle, I can tell that you're a credit to your people. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise." O'Ryan called out over the sounds of their colliding attacks, right before Blackfire launched her ki attacks from her mouth to set O'Ryan off balance.

However, just like Blackfire's katana followed her into this spar, O'Ryan's Hardened Rapier of Light had followed O'Ryan into this spar as well. Another great thing I like about the Omega Cannon... it requires only one hand for situations like this! O'Ryan thought as he drew his rapier and held it in front of his face. As he held it there, the blade started to glow with an amber aura around it, then was hit by the first ki attack... and the first ki attack was absorbed. O'Ryan had used the technique Aura Blade to stop the first attack. As the second ki attack closed in, O'Ryan swung his sword wielding hand to the side, using the back of his hand to deflect the second ki attack to the side. O'Ryan had avoided getting hit by both attacks.

Because of this, O'Ryan wasn't distracted at all when Blackfire poured more energy into her Final Flash. With another smile, O'Ryan focused half of his power into his arm, then dumped it into the Omega Cannon, causing it to triple in size and started to overpower Blackfire's Final Flash after she added her extra power into her finisher. This battle was going to be over soon alright... and it was going to end with quite a bang.

O'Ryan had expertly destroyed both of Blackfire's attacks. It was quite impressive. But the young orphan was hardly giving up. She did have on more trick up her sleeve. A trump card. O'Ryan's praise fell on deaf ears as Blackfire poured more Ki into her attack, causing it to once again slowly push against the Omega Cannon, the blasts now back in the middle. The teen was feeling quite fatigued, she wouldn't be able to hold out much longer.

Letting out a sigh, Komand'r let herself relax until she could feel the presense of Skoll within her. The spirit beast still did not trust her, but at least he obeyed her orders. It would only be a matter of time before there would be a bond of trust between them as there was with his previous master, Nappa.

Electricity sparkled around the orphan's legs and it quickly took a solid shape before fully materializing into the electric wolf. The beast was about half Blackfire's size. However Skoll had a lot of power for such a small package. The spirit beast gave Blackfire a cool gaze through intelligent eyes and looked at O'Ryan.

“What would you have me do Komand'r?”

“I told you to stop calling me that,” Blackfire hissed through clenched teeth, keeping most of her concentration on the task at hand. “Take him out. I don't care how!”

Skoll paused to scratch behind one ear vigorously. “Very well,” he growled, sounding indiffrent to the whole matter. “Strike once I distract him.”

The orphan gritted her teeth, but she had no time or energy to tell the spirit wolf that she was the one in charge. Skoll rushed forward with a terrifying howl. As if in answer, the grey clouds, remains of the now destroyed hurricane started to move as if reactivated. A huge bolt of lightining blasted out of a cloud, headed right to the ki grappling android. Once again, Blackfire pushed more Ki into her attack.

As O'Ryan continued to pour more of his ki energy into the Omega Cannon, his built in scouter detected another source of ki energy coming from Blackfire, and it was much stronger then most other techniques that the android had ever encountered. What's more was that it seemed to generate it's own ki energy and wasn't taking any from Blackfire herself. The moment that there was a build up of electrical energy from the surrounding clouds, O'Ryan's built in scouter was able to detect the flow of ki energy from the ki entity, that Blackfire had unleashed, to the storm clouds. Oh boy... how did she gain this power? O'Ryan thought as he watched the build up of electrical energy take the form of a lighting bolt and arced directly towards O'Ryan.

The android's metal frame acted like a lighting rod, causing all of the electrical energy in the attack to hit the android dead on. The electrical energy caused O'Ryan's extended arm to short, resulting in the Omega Cannon loosing power. "I lose... well done Blackfire." O'Ryan managed to say before the Final Flash swallowed the electrified android whole. Moments later, there was an explosion from within the Final Flash, and a smoking heap of metal fell out of the finisher technique and plunged downwards.

More of a battle, but its good.
